Web-based Financial Publishing Application
Four Winds applies innovative technology to deliver a financial publishing solution.

Buyside-Stocks approached Four Winds with a need to develop 12,000 custom financial charts each week based on weekly financial data. The highly detailed charts could not be rendered in HTML and needed to be printed in high resolution.

Four Winds created a series of Acrobat PDF templates, a software PDF merging engine, a batch publishing system, and a web-based financial publishing site. The system automatically runs the financial data through the templates and creates 12,000 custom PDF financial reports each week, as well as generating custom reports on-demand from live data.

As a product, the PDF template is available for integration with real-time web-based delivery of PDF files merged with data. Clients provide PDF templates and a database, Four Winds provides a system which reads the database and generates custom PDF files on-demand or as a batch process.
